Dress Rehearsal & Picture Day
We will have Dress Rehearsal at Tivoli Theatre on Wednesday, May 29th for all Rec Dance Classes listed above. An exact rehearsal time on stage will be emailed to each class in the coming weeks.
Dancers will be photographed on stage in action at the Recital by a professional photographer.
We will also have a separate optional Picture Day TBA at Pure Vibe Dance Center. If you would like to setup a timeslot for your dancer/s to get their picture taken in their costume, please reach out to the front desk via phone or email, [email protected].
There will be a required photography fee of $40 per dancer/$60 per family that will provide access to pictures from the Recital and Picture Day. To insure you get the pictures you want of your dancer/s, we recommend booking a time on Picture Day. More information about exact date and times available for Picture Day will be coming soon.
Dance Company and Hip-Hop Crew will have Dress Rehearsal at Tivoli Theatre on Thursday, May 30th for all Group competition numbers.
The Company/Crew Showcase of all Solo, Duo and Trio competition numbers will be that evening. Please note Solo, Duo and Trio competition numbers will not be in the Dance Recital on Sat, June 1st. Only Group competition numbers will participate in the Dance Recital on Sat, June 1st (with the exception of Senior solos). If your dancer is in one of the Rec classes listed above, those numbers will be in the Dance Recital on Sat, June 1st and will have Dress Rehearsal on Wed, May 29th.
Dance Costumes
Dance Instructors will begin measuring all dance students in Recital classes. Dance Costume order deadline is February 26th. Students must be measured and enrolled in their dance class by February 26th to participate in the Dance Recital.
If you are not interested in having your child participate in the Dance Recital, please inform the front desk by February 26th! Students not participating in the Dance Recital can still attend dance classes and learn choreography.
Dance Costumes will be ordered through the studio and passed out in late May. It is assumed that your child will participate in the Dance Recital and their costume fee will be billed mid-March.
Tickets
Tickets for the Dance Recital and Company/Crew Showcase will be available for purchase in early May. We will send a separate email out with the ticket link and pricing.
Please let the office know if you need special accommodations for seating.
Your child’s costume total will be emailed to you prior to billing once the instructors have finalized the chosen costume.
We are very excited to have our Dance Recital on Saturday, June 1st at Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove.
*This year we will also have a special Company/Crew Showcase at the Tivoli Theatre of Solo, Duo and Trio competition numbers from Dance Company & Hip-Hop Crew on Thursday, May 30th.
